Sometimes our bodies require more focused attention. We may have suffered
an illness or injury and our body may become weakened . At this important recovery stage we do not want to be rushed to learn at the pace of someone who is perhaps healthy and injury free.
I will give you a structured program which gives you time to build up your strength and core control with understanding of how your body is moving.
In the Pilates Studio repetoire there is the chance to develop strength through using spring resistance using the Reformer, Cadillac (trapeze table) and the combination chair. The machines will support your body whilst challenging your core muscles. These machines were created by Joseph Pilates and have really stood the test of time amongst many items of fitness equipment that do not give you the feedback that your body is working from your core muscles.
If you require a focused and thorough approach to your fitness routine or have an area of your body that needs careful attention then this will be your route to take. I will assess the needs of your body and find the required exercises that will give you the ease of movement whilst still providing strength for your daily activities.
If you are an athlete then this really may be the missing link to improving your power and strength within your sport. It will give you flexibility and mobility and can be used as a recovery workout to compliment your training.
